the first step is alway the hardest

Yesterday sitting in my office looking at bikes. i came across the new BMW G 450 X an idea hit me out of nowhere. maybe it was all the tea i had that day or maybe it was the memory of my first and so far only international rally  i did all i know is that i wanted more. I made up my mind i am going to be in the next UAE desert challenge. I have always wanted to go to the Dakar rally. after seeing Charlie Boorman and Ewan McGregor do their two adventure trips long way round and long way down, and Charlies own road to Dakar it just made me think wether or not i have what it takes to do something like this. i like adventure, i like taking risks with my life but no sky diving or bungy jumping these are no no in my book. the desert challenge is something that i can do. So here it is folks you heard it first I am going to the 2010 Desert Challenge.
